The dig its will be masked by as ter isks (*). A PIN can
have 4, 5 or 6 dig its.
WARNING: The de fault PINs of all Avail able Codes
must be changed for se cu rity rea sons.
You can not change a Code's Fa ther code/s with -
out first en ter ing the PIN of one of its Fa ther codes.
Redigit New PIN En ter the dig its of the New PIN in
this field.
If the en try is cor rect (both fields match), the PIN fields
will clear when you click OK, and the New PIN will be -
come Valid.
In the event of mis match, the PIN fields will not clear,
and it will be nec es sary to re peat the pro ce dure.

Code Type

This pa ram e ter de ter mines the Code func tions — pro -
grammed in the Code Types page (re fer to "Key pad
codes - Codes types").

Enable on LCD Keypad

The "En able LCD key pad" ta ble will al low you en able
the code con cerned on the LCD Key pads (32 keypads
for KYO320).

Enable on LED Keypad

The "En able LED key pad" ta ble will al low you en able
the code con cerned on the LED Key pads (16 keypads
max).

Programming

Due to the ex treme im por tance of Code func tions (sys -
tem ac cess and se cu rity), the pro gram ming pro ce dure
is dif fer ent from that nor mally used.
Full down loading of all the pa ram e ters on the User
page de pends on whether or not the Code PIN en tries
(en tered at Com puter) match the Con trol panel PINs
(pro grammed at the sys tem Key pad). In the event of
mis match, a di a logue box will in form you of the in con -
gru ity:

Only data for Par ti tion en abling, as so ci ated Timers and
Code Types will be sent>>.
If you se lect OK you will be able to pro gram the De -
scrip tion, En abled Par ti tions, As so ci ated Timers,
User menu ac cess and Code Type ONLY.
If you wish to pro gram the Code pa ram e ters (Avail able
sta tus, Ac tive sta tus, Panic at trib ute, Pa trol at trib ute
Fa ther Codes and PIN), you must first up load the
Users page from the Con trol panel.

data will be down loaded, in clud ing any user mod i fied
pa ram e ters.

The In staller Codes can ac cess the sys tem for pro -

The MASTER In staller code is al ways Ac tive and can
per form a lim ited num ber of pro gram ming and main te -
nance op er a tions.
The four In staller Codes can be made Ac ti vated as re -
quired, and pro grammed to per form a lim ited num ber of
pro gram ming and main te nance op er a tions.
The In stallers page will al low you to pro gram In staller
code at trib utes, as fol lows.

CAN NOT be changed:
The Ta ble on the left side of the In stallers page shows
the 5 In staller Codes . The page lay out is as fol lows:

On the right side of the In stallers page you can set the
pa ram e ters for the Codes se lected on the left side of the

Code Type
The In staller Code can pro gram and change all pa -
ram e ters via com puter.
You can not pro gram an In staller Code with out first
en ter ing its Fa ther In staller Code PIN.
In staller codes no. 196, 197, 198 and 199 have two
Fa ther codes which can not be changed: them selves
and Code no. 200;
Code no. 200 is its own Fa ther code and can not be
changed.
The Ac tive sta tus of In staller Code no. 200 is ir re -
vers ible.
At de fault the In staller Code PIN is 0 fol lowed by
the Code ID Num ber. For KYO320 for ex am ple, the
PIN of Code no. 200 is 0200;
