Keypad Codes - User - Bentel Security KYO 320 Installation Manual

The above-men tioned "Dis play ... on Key pad" op -
tions will soon be avail able for pro gram ming via
Key pad.
Disable False Key warning If this op tion is en abled,
the Con trol Panel will store False Key events in the
Event log but WILL NOT pro vide False Key warn ings on
the sys tem Keypads and Read ers.
Disable arming on wireless receiver lost If this op -
tion is en able Arm com mand will not be car ried out on
Par ti tions that have wire less zones, if the re ceiver is lost.
Di sa ble arming on wireless zones fault If this op -
tion is en able, Arm com mand will not be car ried out if a
wire less zone has not trans mit ted to the re ceiver in the
15 last min utes (Zone Control time).
Enable Continuous Recording If this op tion is en -
abled, the Con trol Panel will use Mes sage No. 64 to
con tin u ously re cord any sounds picked up by the mi cro -
phones of the Voice board and con nected Mi cro -
phone-Speaker boards.
If any of the Events listed in the Events en abled to
stop con tin u ous re cord ing Ta ble oc curs, the Con trol
Panel will stop re cord ing af ter the pro grammed Time -
out stop con tin u ous re cord ing. In this way, Mes sage
No. 64 will re cord am bi ent sounds picked up be fore and
af ter the pro grammed events (re fer to "Con tin u ous Re -
cord ing" in the USER MANUAL).
Events Enabled to Stop Continuous Recording If this
op tion is en abled, you will be able to se lect the Events
that will stop the Con tin u ous Re cord ing func tion.
At de fault, only Ge neric+Tam per alarm on par ti tion
will stop the Con tin u ous Re cord ing func tion.
To change an Event:
1. Dou ble click on the No. field, or on the field of the
Events en abled to stop con tin u ous re cord ing.
2. Se lect the re quired Event from the list.
3. Click OK.
To de lete an Event:
4. Se lect the No. field of the Event;
5. Press Canc but ton on the com puter key pad.
Timeout Stop Continuous Recording This field will
al low you to pro gram the in ter val (in sec onds) be tween
the start of an Event — se lected on the Events en abled
to stop con tin u ous re cord ing list — and ter mi na tion
of re cord ing.
Valid en tries: 0 sec onds to 75% of the pro grammed
length of Mes sage No. 64
De fault: 10 sec onds

Lock Keypad on Invalid Code If this op tion is en -
abled, the Key pad will lock for the pro grammed time (re -
fer to "Lock time in min.") when an In valid PIN is en tered
for the pro grammed num ber of times (re fer "Max. Num -
ber of At tempts").
Attempts This field will al low you to pro gram the num ber
of wrong PIN en tries al lowed be fore key pad lock out.
The wrong PIN coun ter will re set when the valid PIN is
en tered or when the Lock Time min. ex pires.
Valid en tries:1 through 10.
De fault: 3
Lock Time min. This field will al low you to set the Key -
pad Lock time (in min utes).
Valid en tries: 1 through 20 min utes, in 1-min ute steps
De fault: 3 min utes
Mains Fault Timeout This field will al low you to set the
amount of time that must ex pire be fore the Warn ing
mains fail ure event oc curs.
Valid en tries: 0 through 5400 min utes, in 1-min ute steps
De fault: 3 min utes

Keypad Codes - User

The Key pad Codes and Dig i tal Keys/Cards al low the Us ers
and In staller to ac cess the sys tem.
200 Codes Avail able for KYO320 KYO320 man ages
a to tal of 200 Codes — 195 User Codes (1 through
195), 4 In staller Codes (196 through 199) and a Mas ter
In staller Code (200).
Each User Code can be pro grammed to con trol spe cific
func tions and Par ti tions. Each Code must be as signed
at least 1 Fa ther code (up to 3 dif fer ent Fa ther codes
can be as signed). A Code can be as signed to it self,
thus be com ing its own Fa ther code.
Only the Fa ther code can change the PIN, Avail able
and Ac tive sta tus of its as signed Codes.
PIN The PIN is the com bi na tion of dig its that al lows ac -
cess to Code func tions. The PIN can be a 4, 5 or 6 digit
num ber.
You can Arm/Dis arm and By pass Par ti tions us ing
6-digit User PIN as fol lows: type in a valid 6-digit
User PIN fol lowed by the 2-digit ID num ber of the
Par ti tion con cerned, then press ON, OFF, A, B, C
or D, as re quired. The Par ti tion will Arm/Dis arm in
ac cor dance with pro gram ming.
Keypads and User Codes Each Key pad and User
code can be pro grammed to con trol spe cific Par ti tions.
There fore, the out come of a com mand en tered at a Key -
pad de pends on the User code and Key pad in use (com -
mands will af fect ONLY the Par ti tions com mon to both the
User Code and Key pad). This dual level of con trol greatly
in creases ap pli ca tion flex i bil ity, for ex am ple, a Code can be
pro grammed to con trol a cer tain group of Par ti tions when
en tered at one Key pad, and a dif fer ent group when en tered
