The pa ram e ters in the Cycles sec tion can be set for
Mono stable Out puts only.
Cycles This field will al low you to set the num ber of cy -
cles the Out put must run.
Valid en tries: 1 to 31 Cycles (1 Cy cle is set at de fault).
Timeless If this op tion is en abled, the Out put will run
an un lim ited num ber of cy cles. In which case, the Out -
put cy cles can be in ter rupted ONLY by Par ti tion Re set
or Con trol Panel Re set.

DO NOT as so ci ate Out puts with the Time less at trib -
ute with NON Re stor able-NON Spot, Spot and Spe -
cial events, as these events can not be stopped.

Events

The Events but ton will al low you to view the Events that
ac ti vate the se lected Out put.

Partitions

Each Par ti tion con sists of a group of zones that the sys -
tem man ages in de pend ently (Vir tual Con trol Panel).
Each Par ti tion can be pro grammed with its own Codes,
Timers, Ac tions and Pa ram e ters.
This sys tem man ages 32 Par ti tions. You can setup the
Par ti tions in the BPI Zones and Wire less pages.
The lay out of the Par ti tions page is as fol lows.
No. This field shows the Par ti tion ID num ber, used in
some parts of the ap pli ca tion in stead of the De scrip tion
(e.g. for Tele phone Ac cess).
Description This field is for the Par ti tion La bel (16
char ac ters). The De scrip tion will iden tify the Par ti tion
in all the op er a tions it is in volved in.
Entry Time This field will al low you to set the Par ti tion
En try Time. Vi o la tion of an Armed En try De lay Zone
will trig ger the pro grammed En try Time.
The Par ti tion En try Time will be sig nalled by:
the En try time on par ti tion event for the Par ti tion;
an au di ble sig nal from the Par ti tion Key pads.
An Alarm will not be gen er ated if the vi o lated Par ti tion is
Dis armed be fore the En try time ex pires.
Exit Time This field will al low you to set the Par ti tion
Exit Time. Vi o la tion of an Armed Exit De lay Zone will
trig ger the pro grammed Exit Time.
If vi o la tion ends be fore the Exit time ex pires, the Zone
will not gen er ate an Alarm.
The Par ti tion Exit Time will be sig nalled by:
the Exit time on par ti tion event for the re spec tive
Par ti tion;
an au di ble sig nal on the Par ti tion Key pads.
Last Exit Time This field will al low you to set the Last
Exit Time. Vi o la tion of an Armed Last Exit Zone will
trig ger the pro grammed Last Exit Time of its Par ti tion.
This fea ture will al low the sys tem to Arm as soon as the
pro grammed Last Exit Time ex pires. Valid en tries for

En try, Exit and Last Exit Times:
0 min utes and 0 sec onds through 59 min utes and 55
sec onds, in 5-sec ond steps. If you en ter a higher value,
it will be con verted au to mat i cally to the max i mum ad -
mis si ble value. If you en ter a value that is not a mul ti ple
of 5 sec onds, it will be rounded off to the near est 5-sec -
ond step. De fault set ting: 1 min ute.
Partition Code This field is for the Par ti tion User
Code. When a Par ti tion-re lated event oc curs, the Dig i tal
Com mu ni ca tor will send the re spec tive Par ti tion Code
to the tele phone num bers with the Send Al ways op tion
Dis abled (re fer to "Dig i tal Com mu ni ca tor").
The Par ti tion Code is use ful in shared Se cu rity sys tem
ap pli ca tions (for ex am ple, in an apart ment build ing or
Shopping Mall, etc.) where it is nec es sary to iden tify the
Par ti tion in Alarm sta tus rather than the sys tem (the
Par ti tion Code will iden tify the Par ti tion whereas the
Cus tomer Code will iden tify the sys tem).
If the re port ing for mat sup ports 4 dig its, only the
first four dig its will be sent.
If the pro to col does not sup port hex a dec i mal dig its
(A, B, C, D and F), they will be con verted to 0.
When op er at ing with SIA or SIA on B-NET re port ing for -
mats, the Dig i tal Com mu ni ca tor will send the re spec tive
Cus tomer Code (re fer to "Dig i tal Com mu ni ca tor").
Negligence Time Un der
Users Arm their sys tems with a cer tain reg u lar ity, if this
does not oc cur, it may be due to Neg li gence on the
User's be half or may mean that the User is in dif fi culty
(due to se ri ous ill ness, ac ci dent or de lin quency), in
which case, this fea ture will prompt the Cen tral sta tion
op er a tor to take the nec es sary ac tion.
This pro gram ming field will al low you to set the Neg li -
gence Time. If the sys tem is not Armed within the pro -
grammed time, the Con trol panel will gen er ate the Neg -
li gence on Par ti tion event.
Valid en tries: 1 through 60000 min utes (41 days and 16
hours) in 1-min ute steps.
In valid en tries (over 60000 min utes) will gen er ate an er -
ror mes sage.
If this op tion is left at de fault (0), Neg li gence will not be
sig nalled.
Neg li gence will be sig nalled by:
the Event neg li gence on par ti tion event — rel e vant
to the Par ti tions the Zone is as signed to.
Auto-Arm Timeout This field will al low you to pro gram
the Au to matic Arm pre-alert pe riod.
For ex am ple, if the Timer is set to Arm Par ti tion no. 1 at
17:45 p.m. with a 15-min ute Auto-Arm Time out, the
sys tem will gen er ate the Autoarming warn ing par ti -
tion no. 1 event at 17.30, and will sig nal the start of the
pre-alert pe riod. The pre-alert sig nal will warn any one
on the pre mises that the sys tem is about to Arm. Dur ing
the pre-alert phase the sys tem will ac cept Over time Re -
quests. If no valid Code is en tered dur ing this pe riod,
the sys tem will Arm as pro grammed.
The event will end when the pro grammed Auto-Arm
nor mal
cir cum stances,
