To use the additional functions, the following screen creation software is required.

• Contents of additional functions
1) Connection of bar code reader → Paragraph 13.2
The ASCII code data from a bar code reader can be stored in word devices in the PLC by
way of the F930GOT.
2) Connection of the SLC500 Series PLC manufactured by Allen-Bradley → Paragraph 13.3
The CPU (RS-232C) in the SLC 500 Series PLC can be connected.
* When the connected PLC is set to RS-232C, a bar code reader cannot be connected at
the same time.
While the screen data is transferred from a personal computer or while output to a
printer is performed in the other mode in the GOT, communication with a bar code
reader is disabled.
3) Connection of the MELSEC-QnA Series PLC → Paragraph 13.4
CPU direct connection (RS-422) or computer link unit connection (RS-422/232C) is
available.
4) Additional key codes available in alarm history objects → Paragraph 13.5
5) Ten-key window display position can be specified. → Paragraph 13.6
6) Additional status monitoring function → Paragraph 13.7
Bit devices in the PLC can be set to ON/OFF, specified bit devices can be set to ON/OFF
at a constant cycle, and constants can be written.
