Clamp the fork leg in the area of the lower triple clamp.

Unclamp the fork leg. Slide the outer tube down.

Pull up Preload Adjuster
Open-end wrench (T14032) (

Hold the hexagonal piece in place with the special tool. Release Preload Adjuster
and remove it with preload spacers
