LANDING EMERGENCIES
GEAR-UP LANDING
The landing gear will not retract unless one
of the throttles is in a position correspond-
ing to approximately 15 in. Hg manifold
pressure or above.
If possible, choose firm sod. When assured of reaching landing
site:
1. Cowl Flaps . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . CLOSED
2. Wing Flaps . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . AS DESIRED
3. Throttles . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . CLOSED
4. Fuel Selectors . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .OFF
5. Mixture Controls . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . CUT OFF
6. Magnetos . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .OFF
7. Alternators . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .OFF
8. Batteries . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .OFF
