Item N° 326617
p. Bad Cable
This error occurs when the control system detects a connection error at the level of the communication
cables linking the modules.
• Check all the cables and connections to ensure that none of them are disconnected.
• Replace the cables with visible damage. Switch off the power then switch it back on.
• Turn off one cable at a time in the system. Switch off, then switch back on after each disconnection.
If it persists after the check above has been carried out, this error may indicate a fault in the power
module. For further details, see section «Replacement of defective units».
q. Bad Settings
This error occurs when the control system detects bad or invalid settings.
• Check all the settings, then reprogram the control system using the PC programmer of R-Net.
• Make a note of the current settings, then reinitialise the control system with standard values.
• Reprogram the desired settings in small groups. Switch off, then switch back on after each group to find
out if the error recurs.
If it persists after the check above has been carried out, this error may indicate a fault in the power
module. For further details, see section «Replacement of defective units».
r.
Module Error
This error occurs when the control system detects an error for a specific module. The module is indicated
on the diagnostic screen, as described in section 2.
• Check all the cables and the connections.
• If it persists after the check above has been carried out, this error may indicate a fault in the module
indicated. For further details, see section «Replacement of defective units».
s. System Error
This error occurs when the control system detects an error which it is impossible to assign to a specific
module.
• Check all the cables and the connections.
• Switch off the power then switch back on.
If the error persists and the system includes third-party modules, proceed as follows:
• Turn off all the modules which do not come from PGDT. Switch off, then switch on again.
If this action makes it possible to correct the error:
• Connect one third-party module at a time. Switch off and switch on each time.
• If it recurs after one of the cycles of switching on and switching off, the error must be due to a fault in the
last module connected.
If it persists after the check above has been carried out, this error may indicate a fault in the PGDT
system. For further details, see section «Replacement of defective units».
t.
Gone to Sleep
This error occurs when the system is not used for a period of more than the Sleep Timer parameter,
which sets the energy saving mode. Each time it occurs, this error is recorded in the system log.
u. Charging
This error occurs when the control system detects that a charger is connected to the inhibition contact 1
or 3.
The battery charging screen is displayed when a charger is connected.
Each time it occurs, this error is recorded in the system log.
• Turn off the charger of the electric chair.
If it persists after the charger has been disconnected, the error may be due to a fault in the joystick
module. For further details, see section «Replacement of defective units».
