BACKREST (1/2):

Dismantling:
1. Unscrew the indexable handle and
remove the head support. (See figure
127)
2. Remove the backrest cover. (See figure
127)
3. Remove the backrest actuator (see
section «Backrest actuator»), the two
angle sensors (see section «Chair
wiring») as well as the control box R-NET
(see section «Chair wiring») (undo the
wiring only to the bottom of the backrest).
4. Remove the armrests (see section
«Armrests»).
5. Remove the nut cap and remove the two
screws connecting the backrest to the
seat. (See figure 128)
6. Remove the backrest.
7. Remove the backrest straps (from above
for the straps above the cross beam and
from underneath for those under the
backrest cross beam).
8. Remove the two (or four for width 48)
screws connecting the left and right
backrest mounts via the cross beam of
the backrest. (See figure 129)
9. Remove the two screws connecting the
backrest pivots to the backrest mounts.
(See figure 129)
10. Replace the damaged components.
