2. Remove the outer race (Figure 142, item B) of the needle
roller bearing. (The inner race is item A.)
3. Place the inner race of the needle roller bearing (Figure 143,
item A) onto the shaft.
4. Press the inner race of the needle roller bearing (Figure 144,
item A) onto the shaft as shown. Figure 144, item B is a bear-
ing press assembly tool.
NOTE: The outer race of the needle roller bearing is installed
later on page 71.
