- Calculate the clearance between the valve and
its guide.
- Check the deviation of the valve stem by resting
it on a "V" shaped support and measuring the ex-
tent of the deformation using a dial gauge.
Characteristic
Limit value allowed:
0.1 mm
- Check the concentricity of the valve head by
placing a dial gauge at a right angle with respect
to the valve head and rotating it on the "V" shaped
support.
