How to Write EEM Policies Using the Cisco IOS CLI

Configuring Multiple Event Support

The multiple event support feature adds the ability to register multiple events in the EEM server. The multiple
event support involves one or more event occurrences, one or more tracked object states, and a time period
for the event to occur. The event parameters are specified in the CLI commands. The data structure to handle
multiple events contains multiple event identifiers and correlation logic. This data is used to register multiple
events in the EEM Server.
Setting the Event Configuration Parameters
The trigger command enters the trigger applet configuration mode and specifies the multiple event configuration
statements for EEM applets. The trigger statement is used to relate multiple event statement using the tag
argument specified in each event statement. The events are raised based on the specified parameters.
