Configuring MAC Address Move Notification Traps

When you configure MAC-move notification, an SNMP notification is generated and sent to the network
management system whenever a MAC address moves from one port to another within the same VLAN.
Follow these steps to configure the switch to send MAC address-move notification traps to an NMS host:

1. enable
2. configure terminal
3. snmp-server host host-addr {traps | informs} {version {1 | 2c | 3}} community-string notification-type
4. snmp-server enable traps mac-notification move
5. mac address-table notification mac-move
6. end
7. show running-config
8. copy running-config startup-config
