System Configuration Overview

The system can be configured with four flexible feeder trays that are capable
of feeding sheet or slip/insert material, pre-folded inserts, thin booklets, and
envelopes (see table below). In addition, the DI950 model is equipped with
a dedicated High Capacity Envelope Feeder (HCEF) that allows for greater
speed and throughput. The systems also accept material from optional up-
stream input devices, such as High Capacity Sheet Feeders (HCSF).

Scanning Support Overview

The DI900/DI950 scanning was created for flexibility in mind, as it can be con-
figured to run existing DI350/DI400, DI500/DI600, or DI800 jobs; as well as
jobs that have been designed for most competitive inserters (see table below).
This greatly simplifies upgrades and competitive displacements because the
system can run existing OMR jobs without extensive reprogramming.
