This code can be used:
To schedule the number of total pages in the current collation, so that no
scanning need be done on those pages. This permits codes to exist only
on the first page scanned. If the next expected first page does not contain
the scan codes, the system stops and declares an error for the previous
set.
NOTE: This is an open loop solution without verification for check process-
ing. It is a good application in which to use batch mode with relatively small
batches.
Byte Management
The user may select from the following options based on symbology:
OMR generates a straight bit string of length n.
Code 39 character-based input may use:

Base 10-numerics only, or;
-
Base 36 full alphanumeric capability (recommended for normal use to
facilitate space and human readability components of code (if gener-
ated), or;
-
Base 43 full Code 39 character set including special characters.
• Interleaved 2 of 5, base 10 numeric code only.
