Match Codes (MC)
This code has several uses in DI900/950 systems. The match code is a user-
selectable number of bits between 2 and n where n is determined by the ap-
plication and the maximum length of the code. The user may also select count
up, count down, or random sequence. In random sequence, sequence varia-
tions do not generate an error (however, adjacent pieces must have different
codes). If the user selects either count up or count down, a break in sequence
after the first piece read is defined as an error. The user may elect to use zero
or not.
