Errors related to the scan configuration setup or the way the print job is setup
will usually only show up when trying to run the job. The following errors can
be observed while running OMR or BCR jobs.
Expected BOC or EOC errors:
(EC 1040/1240 BOC not found, EC 1041/1241 EOC not found)
• Check that the EOC and BOC are in the correct position in the scan con-
figuration.
• Check the physical material and make sure that the mark/bit that is sup-
posed to be the BOC is really the first piece fed and that the last piece fed
has the EOC mark/bit.
• The position of the EOC and/or BOC may need to be changed to match
the order that the material is fed for the job.
Match Code, Wrap Around Sequence, Page Number Errors:
(EC 1044/1244 – Invalid Page , EC 1045/1245 – Invalid MC, EC 1046/1246
– Invalid WAS)
Expected <> found <> errors:
• Check that the wrap at value is correct.
Find the highest value in the physical material and verify that the next
page has the lowest value on it.
• Check that the count direction is correct.
Make sure that order the material is being fed for the current job has not
reversed the count direction.
