15.7.1 Enabling the HTTP Proxy Application

Before you can configure HTTP-based proxy services, you must enable the HTTP Proxy
application, as described in the following procedure. Once enabled, the Web interface
displays menus in the Navigation pane that are relevant to the HTTP Proxy application.
To enable the HTTP Proxy application:
1.
Open the General Settings page (Setup menu > IP Network tab > HTTP Proxy folder
> General Settings).
2.
From the 'HTTP Proxy Application' drop-down list, select Enable.
3.
Click Apply, and then reset the device with a save-to-flash for your settings to take
effect.

15.7.2 Configuring HTTP Interfaces

The HTTP Interfaces table lets you configure up to 10 HTTP Interfaces. An HTTP Interface
represents a local, listening interface for receiving HTTP/S requests from HTTP-based
(Web) clients such as managed equipment (e.g., IP Phones) and/or AudioCodes EMS
management tool for HTTP/S-based services.
The following procedure describes how to configure HTTP Interfaces through the Web
interface. You can also configure it through ini file (HTTPInterface) or CLI (configure
network > http-proxy http-interface).
To configure an HTTP Interface:
1.
Open the HTTP Interfaces table (Setup menu > IP Network tab > HTTP Proxy folder
> HTTP Interfaces).
2.
Click New; the following dialog box appears:

3.
Configure an HTTP Interface according to the parameters described in the table
below.
4.
Click Apply, and then save your settings to flash memory.
