ENGINE REASSEMBLY

Camshaft installation (TE-TXC)

Secure a dial gauge (1) to the spark plug hole.
Turn the crankshaft manually until bringing the piston to Top Dead Centre.
Clean and refit the intake camshaft (2) and the outlet camshaft (3) ensuring that
the gears are positioned as the figure shows.
Before refitting the camshafts, carefully clean the seat of shafts and
mounts, then lubricate with engine oil.
Make sure that the decompressor is not locked.
Cover parting line "A" is visible through the holes (4).
Make sure that the bushings (5) are in place in the covers.
