To create a static MAC-based VLAN entry. .
create mac_based_vlan mac_address <macaddr> [vlan
<vlan_name 32> | vlanid <vlanid 1-4094> | mask[<000000000000
- ffffffffffff>]
This command only needs to be supported by the model which
supports MAC-based VLAN.
The user can use this command to create a static MAC-based VLAN
entry.
When a MAC-based VLAN entry is created for a user, the traffic
from this user will be able to be serviced under the specified VLAN
regardless of the authentiucation function operated on this port.
There is a global limitation of the maximum entries up to 1024 for the
static MAC-based entry.
<macaddr> - Specifies the MAC address to be created.
<vlan_name 32> - Specifies the VLAN name.
<vlanid 1-4094> - Specifies the VLAN id.
mask <000000000000 - ffffffffffff> - Specifies the mask.
Only Administrator and Operator and Power-User-level users can
issue this command. .
To delete a static MAC-based VLAN entry.
delete mac_based_vlan mac address <macaddr> [vlan
<vlan_name 32> | vlanid <vlanid 1-4094>]
The delete mac_based_vlan mac address command is used to
delete a database entry. If the MAC address and VLAN is not
specified, all static entries will be removed.
<macaddr> - Specifies the MAC address to be created.
<vlan_name 32> - Specifies the VLAN name.
<vlanid 1-4094> - Specifies the VLAN id.
