THROTTLE ADJUSTMENT
(Fig.23)
To check the correct adjustment of the
throttle cable work as follows:
- remove the rubber cap (1);
- by moving the transmission sheath (2)
back and forth check for 1 mm. (0.04 in.)
clearance;
- should this play be greater, unlock lock
nut (3) and loosen register (4); reverse the
operation when the cable play is lower than
1 mm (0.04 in.);
- tighten lock nut (3) again.

CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT
(Fig. 24)
The clutch is adjusted by stretching the cable
using the adjusting unit positioned on the
handlebar. As a rule it is suffi cient to operate
on the handlebar register to restore the
clearance due to the fl exible transmission
stretch. The control lever must have a 0.12
÷0.20 in. idle shifting before beginning to
disengage the clutch.
To adjust this slack, loosen the lock nut
(2) and operate the adjuster (3). The slack
decreases when unscrewing, and increases
when screwing. Take care to tighten properly
the lock nut.
In case of irregularities, apply to a Husqvarna
Dealer.
