If the warning light (6) comes on,
IMMEDIATELY decelerate in order to
avoid ENGINE DAMAGE. During first
1500 km, NEVER exceed 5500 r.p.m.
*IMPORTANT: Functions of the GREEN
warning light (2) "NEUTRAL" in case of
FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM malfunction
(contact your local HUSQVARNA

a) With the GEARBOX NOT in NEUTRAL
position: the warning light FLASHES
INTERMITTENTLY.
b) With the GEARBOX in NEUTRAL
position: the warning light is initially
constantly ON then it FLASHES TWICE
IN RAPID SUCCESSION then returns to
being constantly ON. This cycle repeats
itself.
After eliminating the malfunction, the
warning light (2) returns to its normal
operation.

NOTE
Always remove key from ignition switch
when motorcycle is left unattended. If you
mislay one of the ignition switch keys, use
the BLANK key supplied to rechange.
STEERING LOCK (Fig. 6)
The motorcycle comes with
steering lock (1) set on the right side of
the steering sleeve. Insert the key into
the lock and turn it anticlockwise to block
the steering; then push the key full down
and turn the handlebar in both directions
if necessary. Turn the key clockwise and
remove it from the lock.
