When network connection is made properly, the network status icon at the upper right of the thumbnail screen changes in yellow, and applications
(P2 Browser, FTP client function) which require network can be used.
Starting application (P2 Browser) from web browser
After completing the network connection with your mobile device or computer, start the browser of the mobile device or computer, and then start the
application (P2 Browser).

Select [BROWSE] or [BROWSE (+CTRL)] in the main menu → [I/F SETUP] → [USB/LAN] → [NETWORK FUNC] → [HTTP SERVER].
P2 browser function is enabled.

Start the browser of your mobile device or computer (Safari, Internet Explorer).

Enter the IP address set on the camera in the address entry field of the browser.
f Select [STATUS DISPLAY] from the main menu → [I/F SETUP] → [USB/LAN] → [NETWORK TOOLS] to check the IP address to be entered.

If you use a computer, press the Enter key, and if you use iPad/iPhone, tap the GO button.
The web application (P2 Browser) starts up.

Enter [USER NAME] and [PASSWORD] on the entry screen.
Enter [USER ACCOUNT] (Factory setting: [guest]) and [PASSWORD] (Factory setting: [p2guest]) that have been set for the camera.
When a screen like (Fig. 1) appears (for iPad), the connection has been established.
User account name and password can be set in the main menu → [I/F SETUP] → [USB/LAN] → [NETWORK FUNC] → [USER ACCOUNT].
Accounts can be created or deleted, and the passwords can be changed in the main menu → [I/F SETUP] → [USB/LAN] → [NETWORK FUNC] →
[ACCOUNT LIST].

Wired LAN settings

The settings to connect to computers using the wired LAN are as follows.

Set each item in the main menu → [I/F SETUP] → [USB/LAN] → [LAN PROPERTY] as necessary.
[DHCP] and [DHCP SERVER] are mutually exclusive.
[MAC ADDRESS]: MAC address of wired LAN (cannot be changed)
[DHCP]: Setting whether to use automatic acquisition via DHCP ([ENABLE]: Use automatic acquisition/[DISABLE]: Does not use automatic
acquisition) (Factory setting: [ENABLE])
[IP ADDRESS]: IP address (Factory setting: [192.168.0.1])
[SUBNET MASK]: Subnet mask (Factory setting: [255.255.255.0])
[DEFAULT GATEWAY]: Default gateway (Factory setting: [192.168.0.254])
[PRIMARY DNS]: Primary DNS server setting (Factory setting: [0.0.0.0])
[SECONDARY DNS]: Secondary DNS server setting (Factory setting: [0.0.0.0])
[DHCP SERVER]: Setting whether to use the DHCP SERVER function ([ENABLE]: Uses the DHCP SERVER function/[DISABLE]: Does not use
the DHCP SERVER function) (Factory setting: [DISABLE])

Select [LAN] in the main menu → [I/F SETUP] → [USB/LAN] → [NETWORK SEL].

Configure the settings of wired LAN of your computer.
(For Windows)
Display [Properties] in [Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)] and configure the settings. For details on how to display the screen, refer to [Start] →
[Help and Support].
f When [DHCP SERVER] is set to [ENABLE] on the camera
Select [Obtain an IP address automatically] and [Obtain DNS server address automatically] in the [General] tab. Select [Automatic private IP
address] in the [Alternate Configuration] tab.
f When [DHCP] is set to [DISABLE] on the camera
Select [Use the following IP address] in the [General] tab.
