FRONT FORK CAP BOLT DISASSEMBLY

• Remove the spring adjuster stopper ring.

• Remove the spring adjuster bolt 1 and adjuster 2.

• Remove the rebound damping force adjuster 3.

INSPECTION

INNER AND OUTER TUBES

Inspect the inner tube outer surface and outer tube inner sur-

face for scratches.

Measure the fork spring free length.

If it is shorter than the service limit, replace it with a new one.

Front fork spring free length:

Service Limit: 244 mm (9.61 in)

Move the inner rod by hand to examine it for smoothness.
