SHOCK ABSORBER AND CUSHION LEVER MOUNTING

• Install the washers A and cushion lever.

! Cushion lever mounting nut: 78 N . m (7.8 kgf . m, 56.5 lb-ft)

• Assemble the cushion lever, cushion rod and rear shock ab-

! Rear shock absorber mounting nut 1: 50 N . m

Cushion rod nut 2: 78 N . m (7.8 kgf . m, 56.5 lb-ft)

• Connect the drive chain. ( 6-78)

• Tighten the rear torque link nuts to the specified torque.

! Torque link nut (rear) 1: 34 N . m (3.4 kgf . m, 24.6 lb-ft)

• Route the brake hose and tighten the brake hose union bolt to

the specified torque. (Brake hose routing: 8-21, Brake

fluid replacement: 6-70)

! Brake hose union bolt: 23 N . m (2.3 kgf . m, 16.5 lb-ft)

FINAL INSPECTION AND ADJUSTMENT

After installing the rear suspension and wheel, the following ad-

justments are required before driving.

* Drive chain: 2-20

* Rear brake: 2-22

* Tire pressure: 2-25

* Chassis bolts and nuts: 2-28

(5.0 kgf . m, 36.0 lb-ft)
