STEERING DAMPER

1 Steering damper

• Remove the body cowling cover. ( 6-6)

• With the nut A held immovable, remove the nut 1.

• With the bolt 2 removed, remove the steering damper.

Inspect the steering damper body, bearing and oil seal for dam-

age and oil leaking.

If any defects are found, replace the steering damper with a

• Apply grease to the bearings and dust seals.
