• Remove the fuel filter.

• Remove the fuel pressure regulator holder 1 and the fuel pres-

sure regulator 2.

FUEL FILTER INSPECTION AND

If the fuel filter is clogged with sediment or rust, fuel will not flow

smoothly and loss in engine power may result.

Blow the fuel filter with compressed air.

Install the fuel pump and fuel filter in the reverse order of removal,

and pay attention to the following points:

• Install the new O-ring to the fuel pressure regulator and fuel

• Apply thin coat of the engine oil to the O-rings.

Use the new O-ring to prevent oil leakage.
