STARTER CLUTCH

• Install the washer 1.

• Install the starter clutch assembly onto the crankshaft.

Align the engraved line A on the starter clutch with the punched

mark B on the crankshaft.

• Install the starter clutch bolt with the washer.

• Hold the starter clutch with special tool and tighten its bolt to the

specified torque.

! Starter clutch bolt: 55 N . m (5.5 kgf . m, 40.0 lb-ft)

STARTER IDLE GEAR

• Install the starter idle gear No.2 1, its shaft 2 and the wave

• Apply SUZUKI BOND "1207B" lightly to the mating surfaces A

at the parting line between the upper and lower crankcases and

surface B as shown.
