10.3.3 Selecting partitions

After entering the zone type, use the control buttons
Partitions. Confirm your selection by pressing the control button
under the word Select. To cancel input, press the control button
under the word Back.
If you confirm Partitions with the Select button, you see the following
graphic display:

to be monitored. At least one partition must be marked with Yes. For a
list of partitions and their attributes, see page 13 of these instructions.
Change the setting by pressing the control button
word Change. To end input, press the control button
word Done.
When you first teach a detector to the radio alarm panel then the zone
defaults to partition 1.
You can assign zones of the following type to one or more partitions:
Normal Alarm, Final Exit, Entry Route, Key Box, and Exit Normal Alarm.
Note: If you intend to use part set partitions then make sure that for any
zone shared by more than one
partition the part set options are all the same.
The radio alarm panel will not allow you to assign zones of the following
types to more than one partition: 24 Hour, Fire, Panic Alarm, and
Technical.

Meaning
When this zone is triggered in deactivated state, the
panel emits an acoustic signal (door chime).
If a detector triggers a false alarm, activate the
detector test. For further information, see the section
"Test Function" in these operating instructions under
"Walk test".
The detector function is inverted. An alarm is
triggered at the panel if the detector reports no
alarm within a specific period.
This zone is monitored if the partition of this zone or all
partitions are internally activated.
This zone is automatically omitted if the zone is still
open when the panel is set.
