Selecting the channel property (Permanent or Impulse)
Depending on the trained components, the corresponding channel
must be assigned either the "Permanent" or "Impulse" property.
Proceed as follows to do this:
In the main programming menu, select item 3 (LED 3 lights up).
Confirm by pressing SET. A double tone sounds.
Select the desired channel with SELECT and confirm by pressing
SET. A double tone sounds and the current channel property can
be determined according to the LED. A lit LED indicates
"Permanent" and a flashing LED indicates "Impulse". You can now
switch between both modes using SELECT and confirm by
pressing SET. A double tone sounds and menu 3 is accessed
again.
Note: The following table gives an overview of which components
must be set to "Permanent" and which to "Impulse":

FU59xx, FU8100, FU8130, FU8140,
FU8150, FU832x, FU8330, FU8370,

Example:
Magnetic contact FU8320W – Permanent
Detector open: Detector sends alarm
Detector closed: Detectors sends reset alarm
For "permanent" setting the detector resets the alarm to default
status by itself. This setting is necessary to all mentioned detectors
in column "Permanent".
Panic Alarm button FU8300 – Impuls
Panic button pressed: Detector sends alarms
Panic button not pressed: No reset command is send (from
Detector).
For "Impuls" setting the IP-Alarm module sets the reset command
after 10 seconds by itself. This setting is necessary to all
mentioned detectors in column "Impuls".
