9.9 FNS adjustment of the paper
exit opening solenoid
A. Procedure
1. Remove the following parts.
• Top cover/1 or optional PI (if installed)
• Top cover/2
• Rear cover
2. Turn on the main body, and then turn on the
paper exit opening solenoid (SD704) in the 47
mode (code 75-31).
3. Check whether the clearance between the
plunger [2] on the solenoid and the stopper [3]
on the bracket is within the standard value when
SD704 [1] is on.
Standard value: A = 6.5 ± 0.5 mm
If not, perform the following adjustment.
4. Remove 2 solenoid bracket screws [1] and
remove the solenoid [2] with the bracket [3].
