Replacing the waste toner collecting box

A. Periodically replaced parts/cycle
• Waste toner collecting box: Every 500,000 prints
B. Procedure

1. Open the cover [2] of the waste toner collecting
box [1].
2. Loosen the hose fixing spring [3], and then
remove the hose /3 [4].
3. Reinstall the above parts following the removal
steps in reverse.
Note
• Before installing the hose /3, be sure to clean
the area about 20 mm from the edge of the
inner wall of the hose /3 with a drum cleaner.
When toner adheres to the hose joint section
[5], this may result in the hose being apt to
come off.
