Module Configuration

This section describes how to configure serial interfaces of HSSI-1 and WTE-
4S modules.

Configuring V.35

This section describes how to configure a serial interface, V.35. The other
serial interfaces such as RS-232, X.21, 449 and 530 are to be configured in the
similar way.
Configuring V.35 as a DCE
The following figure illustrates a connection of Ubigate iBG3026 configured
as a DCE.

Purpose
Enters the terminal configuration
mode.
Selects a port to configure as a
serial module.
Selects a serial interface as a
V.35.
Enters the V.35 interface.
Selects V.35 mode as a DCE.
Selects a clock rate.
Selects a synchronization clock
source. As a DTE, the option,
'internal', is recommended.
Selects a CRC mode.
Selects a data mode.
