CHAPTER 36. Management
To display the screen on alarm, set up using system logging. Since default
configuration is 'system logging console critical', check the terminal screen
logged by setting up like 'system logging all_terminal informational'. If you
cannot check the alarm information with terminal, check it with 'show system
logging buffered', and check the information on system logging buffer with
'show system logging syslog'.
Maximum Call Limit
It is an alarm created when a certain percentage is reached on the basis of pre-
set max call. Default value is Minor 70%, Major 80%. To change it, use 'call-
admission threshold alarm max-call' command in Global configuration
command mode, and to initialize the default value, use 'no' command.
call-admission threshold alarm max-call min <value> maj <value>
no call-admission threshold alarm max-call
min <value>: Is the percentage of current call count against max call count
that minor alarm would be created.
maj <value>: Is the percentage of current call count against max call count
that major alarm would be created.
Set up max call used as the basis, using 'call-admission max-calls' command
in global configuration command mode.
A user is able to check current value set with show running-config command.
DSP Channel Limit
It is an alarm created when a certain percentage is reached on the basis of pre-
set max DSP channel usage. Default value is Minor 70%, Major 80%. To
change it, use 'call-admission threshold alarm max-dsp' command in Global
configuration command mode, and to initialize the default value, use 'no'
command.
call-admission threshold alarm max-dsp min <value> maj <value>
no call-admission threshold alarm max-dsp
min <value>: Is the percentage of current used dsp channel against max dsp
channel that minor alarm would be created.
maj <value>: Is the percentage of current used dsp channel against max dsp
channel that major alarm would be created.
