CHAPTER 8. PPP, MLPPP, and HDLC
Ubigate iBG3026 provides Point-to-point protocol over WAN interfaces feature.
The Point-to-Point Protocol(PPP) provides a standard method for transporting
multi-protocol datagrams over point-to-point links. These links provide full-
duplex simultaneous bi-directional operation and are assumed to deliver
packets in order. The following figure explains how PPP fits into the Ubigate
iBG3026 routing/forwarding architecture.
