By inputting '#' or '*' letter, caller can end inter digit timeout immediately.
While '#' or '*' letter waits inputting the additional dial digit, '#' or '*
letter is recognized as the end letter on the moment of inputting. '#' or '*'
letter is not recognized as dial digit and also is not transmitted to the opposite
PBX. However, if '#' or '*' letter is inputted before waiting entering the
additional digit it is recognized as dialed digit.

Digit Manipulation

Ubigate iBG3026 sometimes needs to manipulate digit until it transmits dial
string to telephone. By setting the number manipulation in the set dial peer
according to the current dial plan, the devise of using other number is
applicable.
This kind of manipulating number together with destination pattern
determines dial string transmissible to other telephony devices.
Digit Strip and Prefixes
When the Ubigate iBG3026 of the receiver side matches with dial string as
outbound POTS dial peer, Ubigate iBG3026 basically takes out digit matching
specifically with destination pattern. The remaining digit is transmitted to
either PBX or PSTN.
But other circumstances have dial plan applicable with the original digit that
the partial digit has not been deleted like the above. In this case, it is possible
to make the basically executed digit strip behavior impossible with 'no digit-
strip' dial-peer configuration command or to enable transmitting with
telephony interface by pasting the particular digit with 'prefix' dial-peer
configuration command. This command is supported only in POTS dial peer.
'no digit-strip' command prevents outgoing POTS dial peer from
automatically becoming digit strip. For example, when the configuration is
made like the following, the entire 7 digit including 345 is possible to transmit.
dial-peer voice pots 10
destination-pattern 345....
no digit-strip
port 0/1/1:3
