CHAPTER 30. Analog Voice Port
User-defined ring cadence patterns.
Voice-port> ring cadence on-net|off-net {cadence|define pulse interval pulse
interval pulse interval}
User - definable ring cadence pattern. Each number pair specifies one ring-
pulse time and one ring-interval time. You must enter numbers in pairs, and
you can enter from 1 to 3 pairs. The second number in the last pair that you
enter specifies the interval between rings.
pulse - Number(1 or 2 digits) specifying ring-pulse(on) time in hundreds of
milliseconds. Range is from 1 to 50, for pulses of 100 to 5000 ms.
For example: 1 = 100 ms; 10 = 1 s, 40 = 4 s.
interval - Number(1 or 2 digits) specifying ring-interval(off) time in hundreds
of milliseconds. Range is from 1 to 50, for pulses of 100 to 5000 ms.
For example: 1 = 100 ms; 10 = 1 s, 40 = 4 s.
Dualtone
The dualtone command enters the custom-cptone configuration mode and
specifies a call-progress tone to be dectected. You can specify addition call-
progress tones without exiting custom-cptone configuration mode.
Configure>voice class custom-cptone tag dualtone {busy|dialtone|number-
unobtainable|ringback}
busy - Busy tone.
dialtone - Dial tone.
number-unobtainable - Number-unobtainable tone.
ringback - Ringback tone.
Cadence
To define the tone-on and tone-off duration for a call-progress tone, use the
cadence command in call-progress dualtone configuration mode.
Configure>voice class custom-cptone tag dualtone busy cadence {cycle-1-on-
time cycle-1-off-time [cycle-2-on-time cycle-2-off-time] [cycle-3-on-time
cycle-3-off-time] [cycle-4-on-time cycle-4-off-time]}
