CHAPTER 26. Voice Feature
Stand-alone mode (or Toll Bypass mode)
Stand-alone mode is the mode where Ubigate iBG3026 works without Call
Manager(or Proxy Server). Therefore, it is connected to other network entities
without separate dependency registration procedure.
If Ubigate iBG3026 operates in a Stand-alone mode, the remote office can be
multiple different Ubigate iBG3026s, and the Ubigate iBG3026 directly
determines call routing according to the dial plan settings.

Figure 26.3 shows the stand alone mode network configuration. In this
network configuration, a separate Call Manager and IP phone do not exist.
The internal call in each office(headquarter and branch) is made by using the
legacy PBX as in the headquarter and Branch Office 2, or analog phone or Fax
is directly connected to the Ubigate iBG3026 as in Branch office 1.
The communication between HQ and branch, or between individual branches
is carried out via VoIP over IP network through a Ubigate iBG3026.
