The system then chooses the highest overall scoring parameter set.
Note: The overall score value is calculated to four decimal places.
It is completely normal for there to be multiple sets of parameters that produce images
evaluated as Excellent with high scores varying by just 0.0001. The algorithm is designed to
choose the highest value for all of the scores. This means that the algorithm might first
choose an Exposure of 2000 and a Gain of 25. The second time, it might choose an Exposure
of 1000 and a Gain of 50, based on slight changes in conditions when the Autocalibrations
were performed. These two settings produce nearly identical images, however. The system
chooses the one with the highest value. An example of this is shown below.
