 Cycle
The Cycle dialog is set up first. The Configuration Database should be turned on. The number of
captures should be set to match the number of images that will be used in the Configuration Database
setup. The number of codes or symbols to be found should be set here as well.
The Timeout should be set long enough to guarantee that all codes can be found. Feedback on decode
time can be seen the timing dialog on the right side of the screen.
Note: The Cycle Timeout is for the entire read cycle and should account for all acquisition of all images,
running all decode tools, and inter-trigger delays. The Image Processing Timeout, which sets the
timeout for each individual decode tool is set through Advanced Settings.
Finally, the user should set the appropriate triggering mode for the application. If one of the triggered
modes is used, the user can enable virtual triggering to generate a constant stream of triggers to the
system so it will run continuously while setting it up. Conversely, trigger mode can be kept at continuous
until ready to go into run mode, at which time the trigger mode can be set up.
