Result: The system will try all database entries until a symbol, whether overprinted, normal, or
underprinted, is decoded.
Example 2 – Using the Configuration Database with ROI to specific areas containing barcodes.
Problem: Decode all symbols in field of view. Limit the reading area for each tool to reduce confusion
and to enhance speed. Output decoded symbol data in user-specified order.
Solution Steps:

Set Cycle to look for 7 codes.

Set up Configuration Database with 1 image and 1 database entry.

Set the type of entry to UID. Label this code as 1.

Set ROI up around first code.

Add an additional database entry. Move the ROI around the second code. Change the UID label to 2.

Repeat for all 7 codes. Note that you can limit the code type for each entry.
