When the Proliant DL360 G5 made by HP is procured at the store

1. Unpack the PCU unit.
2. Take out the KM extension cable, monitor extension cable, and HBA board from the accessory box.
3. Open the front door (lower) of the console. (Refer to "4-2-1. Opening the Outer Cabinets")
4. Install the rails supplied with the PCU to the console.
(1) Install the rails to the lower-most row with their front side facing outside.
(2) Slide the slide mounting brackets in the directions of arrows [1] and [2] until the lock plates in
the front and at the back are locked.
(3) Move the junctures of the slide mounting brackets and the lock plates forward and backward to
check that they are securely locked.

When mounting DL360 G5 or G4 on the old-type console, its rail cannot be installed because the rack
mount plate is 2.6 mm thick. In that case, bend the portions of the rail to be inserted into the rack
mount plate about 5 degrees as shown in the figure below at the front and rear sides. (Bend the
portions of the rail so that the angle of 90 degrees in the figure below becomes approx. 95 degrees.)
