Starting PetaApp Linux
Perform settings using the following procedure. If no display appears, refer to " Note 1 " below.
(1) When you want to log into the root account
Enter Username "root", and Password "sony2002".
(2) When you want to change the root password
Use the "passwd" command in the root account.
(Refer to "To change the password" in CSM Operation Manual.)
(3) When you want to change the IP address
(Refer to "Setting the hostname and IP address of the PCU" in the CSM Operation Manual.)

Never use DHCP by any means. Otherwise, the complete check of the IP address, Hostname, and
Ethernet I/F IP address adjustments may be disabled.
(4) When you want to change the time zone to local
Use the "Date & Time" of "System Settings" of OS menu to re-set the time zone.
(When the time zone cannot be re-set by the OS menu, refer to "Changing the time zone settings of
the PCU" in CSM Operation Manual.)
Important: Check that the time setting of the hardware is set to UTC (= GMT (Greenwich mean
time)).
(5) When you want to change the date and time
Perform it after re-setting the time zone.

Set X window again when the following symptoms occur in X window.
. The X window is out of the display frequency range for the display in use and the X window is not
shown.
. The 1024 x 768 is not displayed for resolution select.
For DL360 G3, G4, and G4p
Press ALT-CTRL-F6, and log into the root account.
# /usr/bin/redhat-config-xfree86--noui--reconfig
# reboot
For DL360 G5, G6, and G7
# /usr/bin/system-config-display--noui--reconfig
# reboot
(Refer to "If no display appears after changing the PCU settings" in the CSM Operation Manual.)
If the file system error prevents PetaApp Linux from starting, execute "fsck" manually.
(Refer to "Restarting when the PCU is stopped with power on" in the CSM Operation Manual.)
