6. PSC2 Setup
6-1.
Preparation
(1) Turn on the power of the library (ROBOT, DRIVE).
(2) Start PetaApp Linux. When it has started before the library is turned on, restart it.
(3) Log into the "root" account, and start the terminal window.
(4) When the screen "PetaApp" is not open, double-click the "PetaApp" icon to open the "PetaApp".
Click the "Utility" to open the "PetaApp Utility" screen, and select the "Mode: Administrator" on the
upper-right of the screen. (the default password is "sony").
(5) Click the "PetaApp Utility" icon, and select the "SNMP" tag.
(6) Set the IP address of Terminal Server and FC-Switch, and check "polling".

(7) Enter "/psc/bin/pscend" and "/psc/bin/pscstart" on the terminal window.
(8) Select the "Network" tab, and set the end-user hostname and IP address to eth 1. Do not change eth 0.

When installing version PSC2 V5.01 or earlier onto DL360 G4, it is necessary to add items to the
registry.
Using PSC2 V5.01 in PetaApp V2.01 (for DL360 G4)
The V5.01 module can be used as is, but a new registry must be registered.
After installing PSC2 V5.01, execute "/psc/uty/regedt" and enter the following registry before
starting PSC.
