2. Change the Cluster settings to those for the Primary PC Server using the PetaApp GUI utility.
(1) Start Utility from PetaApp GUI.
(2) Change the mode to the Administrator mode.
(3) Perform Cluster Setup.
(a) Click the "Cluster Setup" tag.
(b) Select "I'm Primary".
(c) Enter API Use IP address (The same IP address for the Primary and Secondary PC Servers.)
(ex: 192.168.20.100).
(d) Enter Secondary User IP address (ex: 192.168.20.5).
(e) Enter Secondary Local IP address (ex: 10.0.0.200).
(f) Enter Application IP address (Host IP address) (The same IP address for the Primary and
Secondary PC Servers.) (ex: 192.168.20.1).
(g) Click [Apply].
3. Create system information.
4. Type "/psc/bin/pscend" and "/psc/bin/pscstart" on the terminal window.
Installing Secondary PSC2
The steps 1 and 4 are not required in PSC V6.70 and later.
1. Back up the Registory data from the Primary PSC2.
(1) Start the MMT of the Primary PSC2.
(2) Change the mode to the Administrator mode.
(3) Execute Registory Backup.
Select [Maintenance] -> [Registory Backup..] from the MMT pull-down menu.
Save the data in the "/psc/backup" directory with a name of "restore.reg".
(4) Copy the backed Registory data file "restore.reg" to a floppy disk.
(a) Insert a floppy disk into the drive. Right-click on a free location on the desktop to display a
menu.Click [Disk] -> [Floppy] on the menu. When an FD icon appears on the desktop, the
floppy disk has been mounted.
(b) Copy the file to the floppy disk.
# cp /psc/backup/restore.reg /mnt/floppy
(c) Right-click on the FD icon to display a menu.
Click [Eject] on the menu.
When the FD icon disappears, the floppy disk has been unmounted.
(d) Remove the floppy disk from the drive.
2. Perform OS installation and Network setting for the Secondary PC Server.
(1) Perform setup of BIOS, RTC, and RAID beforehand.
(2) Install the OS from the OS Recovery CD-ROM.
