6. Type "/psc/bin/pscend" on the terminal window.
7. Connect the network cable.
8. Connect Primary and Secondary using the RS-232C cross cable.
9. Type "/psc/bin/pscstart" on the terminal window.
Checking Cluster status of Primary PSC2
1. Start Utility from PetaApp GUI.
2. Change the mode to the Administrator mode.
3. Check the Cluster status.
(1) Click the "Cluster Status" tag.
(2) Check the following icons.
Running, Hot, TakeOver, Heart Beat: White
Stand Alone, StandBy: Grayed out
(3) Click [OK].
Checking Cluster status of Secondary PSC2
1. Start Utility from PetaApp GUI.
2. Change the mode to the Administrator mode.
3. Check the Cluster status.
(1) Click the "Cluster Status" tag.
(2) Check the following icons.
Running, StandBy, TakeOver, Heart Beat: White
Stand Alone, Hot: Grayed out
(3) Click [OK].
Checking TakeOver operation
1. Start of Secondary PSC2 Utility from PetaApp GUI.
2. Change the mode to the Administrator mode.
3. Check the Cluster status.
(1) Click the "Cluster Status" tag.
(2) Check the following icons.
Running, StandBy, TakeOver, Heart Beat: White
Stand Alone, Hot: Grayed out
4. Start TakeOver.
(1) Click the "Cluster Status" tag.
(2) Select the "TakeOver" radio button in the Action column.
(3) Click [Apply].
5. Check that the TakeOver operation is completed by confirming the following icon colors.
Running, Hot: White
Stand Alone, StandBy: Grayed out
TakeOver: Pink
Heart Beat: Red
