System Initialization Checklist
This checklist highlights the high-level tasks required to initialize the Avaya IP600 Definity One
system.
Installation Tasks
Power up and observe that the LEDs on the
TN2314 circuit pack light according to a
predefined sequence.
Connect the laptop computer.
Start a Telnet session.
Verify the software version number with the
CD-ROM that shipped with the system.
Version #: ______________
Determine the correct serial number.
Serial #: ________________
Download a license using Avaya's Remote
Activation Feature (RFA).
— If you have the serial # from the order,
this step may be completed prior to the
site visit.
Download a password file.
Download an installation script.
— Both of these steps may be completed
prior to the site visit.
Install the license file and installation scripts
using FTP to transfer files.
Test alarming on DEFINITY One or IP600.
