Configure DHCP and TFTP Servers
Enable the TFTP server
To enable the TFTP server on DEFINITY ONE or IP600:
1. From a Terminal Server session, click Start > Programs.
2. Double-click Administrative Tools.
3. Double-click Services.
4. Double-click TFTP server.
5. From the Startup type drop-down menu, select Automatic.
6. If you want to start the server immediately, click Start.
or
If you do not want to start the server immediately, click OK and close all
intermediate windows.
Servers that you selected a Startup Type of Automatic for will turn on every
time you reboot the system.
Add a file path for the TFTP server
The TFTP server file path is the "root" directory used for all transfers by the server.
This is the default directory that all files are uploaded to or downloaded from. This
procedure edits the Windows 2000 registry to create the file path for the TFTP
server.

CAUTION:
Be careful not to delete anything in the registry during the following
procedure.
To create a path to the TFTP root directory:
1. Start regedit.
2. Add a parameters key.
a. Click Start > Run.
b. Enter "regedit" in the Run window
c. Click OK
a. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\
System\CurrentControlSet\Services\TFTPD
b. Right-click TFTPD
c. Select New, then Key
d. Rename the key "Parameters" and press Enter
e. Right-click Parameters
f. Select New, then String Value
g. Rename the String Value "Directory" and press Enter
