If any jumper is positioned incorrectly, grasp it
between thumb and forefinger and lift it
straight up, taking care not to bend the pins.
Note: You may find it easier to remove the jumpers
~ - J
with a pair of tweezers or needle-nosed pliers.

Carefully reposition the jumper over the correct
pins.
4.
If you're adding an XC 22 board to a system
that is already set up:
BE SURE the computer's power switch is
OFF.
• Check that the power switches on your
printer and other devices are OFF.
• Unplug the power cord.
Disconnect all plugs from the back of the

processor.
5.
Loosen the two screws securing the top cover of
the processor. (The screws do not come all the
way out.)
