How To Install An XC 22 Network Access
Board

This installation requires that the top cover of the
processor be removed. Remove the cover
CAREFULLY
to avoid cutting yourself on sharp
edges or damaging delicate computer parts.
If you prefer, a service representative can install
the board for a fee.
Check Fig. 2-1 to verify that the board you are
installing is an XC 22 Network Access Board.
. If your board looks like Fig. 2-1, continue
with the installation instructions below.
If your board does not look like Fig. 2-1, you
may be installing an XC 24 Network Access
Board. Compare your board to Fig. 2-1 on
page 2-47 and continue with those
instructions, if applicable.

Locate the small red plastic connectors on your
XC 22 board. These connectors are called
jumpers. Check that the jumpers on your board
are positioned as shown in Fig. 2-1.
