The steps below are for installing a color display. If
you have a partial-page monochrome display to
install, turn to page 1-9. If you have a full-page
display, turn to page 1-14.
4. Look at the back of your color display to

determine whether you have the display · . ·
illustrated in Fig. 1-12 or the display _ _..,.
illustrated in Fig. 1-13. (Notice that the
display cable is not attached to the former unit,
but is attached to the latter.)
If
you have the display pictured in Fig. 1-12, go
to Step 5. Go to Step 6
if
you have the display
pictured in Fig. 1-13.

Connect the color display cable to the processor.
- Place the display on top of the processor.
- Locate the display cable. Notice that there
is a different plug at each end of the cable.
The end with the pins connects to the back of
the processor; the end with the holes
connects to the back of the display.

- Look at the end of the plug with the pins.
Notice that the ring around the pins is wider
on one side. Turn the plug so that the wider
side faces left, as shown in Fig. 1-12.
